About Broos.

Broos Campbell has written or edited more than a dozen books on industry and commerce, and has a particular interest in ships, fish, the ocean and green industries.

His Matty Graves sea novels concern the triumphs and disasters of a mixed-race American naval officer during the early years of the U.S. Navy. In addition to the Matty Graves novels, Broos has published numerous articles and short stories in the alternative press and literary magazines.

He lives with his wife and family in a small seaside city in Southern California, and thinks it's mildly disturbing to refer to himself in the third person.
